Mission definition
Wordlwide known Insurance company is looking for a project director for an important project in its Russian subsidiary.
Reporting directly to the entity CEO, who sponsors the project, with a functional link to Director of Ressources, the project director will be responsible to organise, plan and steer the implementation of the selected solution (including migration from legacy system and warranty period) in respecting the budget, delays and expected quality as well as the Group governance rules and project methodology.
- Framing of the project: definition of governance, validation of the contributors, phasing of the project, raise alerts in case of scope change
- Plan and steer the project: implementation and migration strategy, elaboration of the project plan including dependancies
- Estimation and supervision of the budget
- Define and follow the project progress indicators; Identify and follow the risks
- Manage resources: Ensures the coordination of all stakeholders involved in the project
- Organises the Steering committees & manages communication in and about the project
- Reports the project progress for Head Office supervision
- Manages the relationship with the vendor
- Manage the project implementation including the change management
- Is responsible for the finalisation of expected deliverables
Metrics
estimated duration: 18 months
Estimated local project team: 10 contributors + coordination of the vendor team + HO contributors
Requirements
At least 15 years of experience as senior IT project manager: tool implementation, data migration
Strong communication skills
English is a must – Russian is a big plus
International experience
Knowledge of Insurance products highly appreciated
Based in Moscow
Fully dedicated to the project.
